was set up in 2000 by Dr James Weale and Dr Sandy Williams, and expanded quickly.
Our team now includes a wide range of highly qualified editors from various disciplines
within the biomedical and social sciences. |

| Dr James
Weale has a PhD in English and Linguistics. He has
taught English to non-native speakers, and has lectured in English at the University
of Wales. Dr Weale is an experienced editor of academic texts. Over the past nine
years he has edited books and articles concerned with a wide range of subjects,
including English, linguistics, history, economics, biology, biochemistry, chemistry,
psychology and agriculture. Dr Weale now works full-time as an editor and language
consultant for SCRIPTORIA. As well as publishing his own research in the field
of Old English literature and language, Dr Weale sits on the editorial board of
the journal Heroic Age. |  | | | | | Dr
Sandy Williams is an experienced researcher, writer
and editor. She holds a PhD in Tropical Agroforestry and a First Class Honours
degree in Ecology. She has worked as a freelance science writer and editor for
the last 12 years, and has written and edited numerous books and papers in the
fields of science, rural development and the environment. Dr Williams has also
supervised several editorial projects on behalf of different international research
organisations. She has an excellent knowledge of South East Asia, and is fluent
in Bahasa Indonesia/Malay. Her areas of expertise include agriculture, forestry,
the environment and natural resource management. |  |
